Programs for Community Members & Organizations

Community presentations can take on a variety of forms depending on the needs of the audience. Presentation topics include discussions about the prevention of relationship violence, rape, sexual harassment, and sex trafficking. We also offer a women and girls’ self defense class.

In addition to presentations, the North Coast Rape Crisis Team can be available to table and/or provide information at community events.

Regardless of the topic, all of our programs focus on empowering and informing individuals.

The North Coast Rape Crisis Team collaborates with a variety of community organizations including Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), Child Abuse Services Team (CAST), Domestic Violence Coordinating Council (DVCC) and all of its task forces, Sexual Assault Prevention Committee (SAPC) and all of its sub-committees, and the Child Abuse Prevention Councils of Humboldt and Del Norte counties.
