NCRCT invites you to our 2025 Dancing in the Rain Gala for what is sure to be an unforgettable evening dedicated to supporting survivors of sexualized violence. This night will be a celebration of resilience and hope, featuring a delicious array of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, as well as a plated dinner prepared by the local legend Brett Shuler (vegetarian/vegan options available), and non-alcoholic beverages; all of which are included with your admission. A cash bar with signature cocktails, beer, wine, cider, and other spirits will be available, after you use your drink token(s) included with your ticket, of course. A detailed dinner menu is available at the bottom of this page for your perusal. A bountiful dessert buffet will also be at your fingertips while you explore a carefully cultivated variety of exciting silent auction items.
Most importantly, your attendance is essential to ensuring NCRCT can continue its critical work in our community. Every ticket purchased directly supports NCRCT’s dedicated team, enabling us to continue providing vital 24-hour crisis intervention and counseling services for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. The funds raised at this event are crucial to sustaining our efforts to offer confidential support, advocacy, and resources to local survivors.
After dinner, it’s time to let loose and dance the night away with Humboldt’s #1 cover band, The Undercovers, playing the best pop hits. The bar and dessert will be available until 11pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the festivities.

A ticket to the Dancing in the Rain Gala invites you to a night of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, as well as a plated dinner catered by our legendary local Brett Shuler; vegetarian or vegan options will also be available. A cash bar with signature cocktails, beer, wine, cider, and other liquor, (after you utilize the drink token included in your ticket) is in store; non-alcoholic beverages are included with your ticket. A dessert buffet will be available while you peruse the silent auction items. After dinner, you can dance the night away to the best pop covers by Humboldt’s #1 band: The Undercovers. The bar and dessert will be available until 11pm. With your ticket, you’re supporting NCRCT and helping to maintain vital 24-hour services for sexualized violence survivors.
A VIP ticket will grant you access to the VIP bar, give you an event tumbler to take home, as well as two drink tokens for the evening.
A VIP table is the most immersive experience of the evening. Along with ALL THE BENEFITS, your table will welcome you with a bottle of wine, event tumblers for everybody at the table to take home, a charcuterie tray to share, and a NCRCT member to ask any questions about our services and ensure your access to the VIP bar!
Cash is a quick and easy way to purchase drink tokens, raffle tickets, tip your bartenders and the band, and pay for any silent auction items you want to take home. We will also be able to accept cards, Venmo, and Zelle throughout the evening.
NCRCT will have square card readers, QR codes, and will accept checks at the event.
Seating with your friends and family is guaranteed if you buy a standard table or VIP table. NCRCT will make every effort to seat parties together. If you buy tickets separately, please send an email to rebecca@ncrct.org to flag your purchase.
The Undercovers will rock the Sequoia Event Center beginning at 7:45pm. Dessert, cocktails, and dancing will continue until 11:00pm.
