Volunteer Opportunities
Sexual Assault Counselor
About Our Program
NCRCT is seeking dedicated individuals who feel a deep commitment to supporting survivors and working to end sexual violence.
Volunteers who complete training will become California state Certified Sexual Assault Counselors and will staff our 24-hour crisis line.
Our program allows individuals the flexibility to work remotely. Once volunteers complete their training they also have the flexibility to pick their own schedule. Training is done via Zoom and requires a $50 non-refundable fee; scholarships may be available. Some topics covered during the training include historical perspectives, intersection of discrimination/oppression and sexual violence, intimate partner violence/sexual violence, self harm, significant others, law enforcement and reporting, medical exams, and more
